Karen Andreasyan, Armenia’s representative for international legal affairs, will visit London from December 8 to 12 to participate in drafting the intergovernmental contract package for the TRIPP project. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has signed the relevant decree.
The agreement will be developed in cooperation with the law firm Fieldfisher LLP.
“Guided by Article 7, Part 5 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government, and based on Prime Ministerial Decree N 1230-N of September 19, 2018, it is decided: 1. To send Representative for International Legal Matters Karen Andreasyan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (London) from December 8 to 12, 2025, to carry out the drafting of the TRIPP project’s intergovernmental agreement package in collaboration with the law firm Fieldfisher LLP,” the decision states.
In August, Armenian, Azerbaijani, and U.S. leaders — Nikol Pashinyan, Ilham Aliyev, and Donald Trump — have officially agreed to launch the “Trump Route.”
"The route will enable Azerbaijan to reach Nakhichevan while fully respecting Armenia’s sovereignty. Armenia is also entering an exclusive partnership with the U.S. to develop the corridor. The duration may be extended up to 99 years, with another 99-year renewal promised. Major infrastructure developments are expected, and U.S. companies are eager to enter and invest, which will benefit all three nations," Trump said.
On September 11, Pashinyan stated that Armenia granted construction rights to the U.S., not a land lease for 99 years.
