On December 29, under the leadership of National Security Service (NSS) Director Andranik Simonyan, a regular session of the Interagency Commission on Prisoners, Hostages, and Missing Persons was held.
In his opening remarks, Simonyan, who chairs the commission, emphasized that the issue of missing persons continues to be viewed solely from a humanitarian perspective.
The session reviewed the progress made since the previous meeting, including efforts aimed at clarifying the fate of missing individuals.
The commission also discussed plans for the coming year, focusing on coordinating search operations and deepening cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
At the conclusion of the meeting, NSS Director Simonyan issued appropriate instructions to commission members.
