Beginning January 1, 2026, under Presidential Proclamation 10998, the United States is fully or partially suspending the issuance of entry visas to nationals of 39 countries and to individuals applying with travel documents issued by Palestine, according to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
“The issuance of visas to Iranian nationals is being fully suspended, with certain exceptions. Iranian applicants may still apply and attend interviews, but they will not be eligible to receive a visa or enter the United States,” the statement said.
