Armenia, U.S. officials discuss broader economic cooperation

On August 10, Vahan Kostanyan, acting deputy foreign minister of Armenia, met with Khush Choksy, senior vice president for international member relations and the Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, to discuss prospects for further deepening Armenia-U.S. economic cooperation.

They discussed prospects for institutionalizing relations in agriculture, energy and information technology.

The two sides highlighted the progress achieved in Armenia-U.S. bilateral relations in recent years. They also emphasized the importance of putting agreements reached at the highest level into practice.

It was previously reported that U.S. authorities had doubled the financial resources of the TRIPP+ enterprise fund from $201 million to $402 million. Armenia is identified as the primary location where funds allocated for implementing the program will be used.
