Grandmaster Emin Ohanyan tops the standings at the European U20 Chess Championship.
After five rounds of the championship in Cetinje, Montenegro, Ohanyan became the sole leader with 4.5 points, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.
International Masters Alex Sahakyan and Vahe Sukiasyan have scored 4 points each, while FIDE Masters Rudolf Pashikyan and Manvel Arakelyan have collected 3.5 points apiece.
In the girls’ tournament, Woman FIDE Master Polina Kobak has scored 3.5 points.
Round 6 of the championship will take place on Aug. 12.
