As part of a working visit to Syunik Province, Education, Science, Culture and Sports Minister Zhanna Andreasyan visited the A. Shirvanzade State Drama Theater in Kapan and the V. Vagharshyan State Drama Theater in Goris.
The discussions addressed the need to implement new creative programs and expand the pool of invited creative professionals. In this context, the minister also emphasized the importance of more actively involving the capital’s creative potential in the activities of regional theaters, helping promote exchanges of experience, establish new partnerships and invigorate theatrical life in the regions.
At both theaters, the minister stressed the importance of issues related to creative activity, urging that all necessary steps be taken to ensure a high standard of artistic and creative work at the theaters and continuously develop it.
She reviewed the theaters’ repertoire policies, efforts to ensure diversity and future programs, and inquired about audience attendance and work aimed at attracting new audiences.
