Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met DP World Chairman Essa Kazim in Dubai on Sept. 9.
DP World is a Dubai-based global trade and logistics company operating in port management, freight transportation, warehousing, and logistics services.
During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities to establish long-term business cooperation with DP World. Particular attention was given to strengthening Armenia’s position as a regional logistics and trade hub.
The sides also discussed DP World’s potential participation in the Gyumri “dry port” project, as well as prospects for developing modern warehousing and multimodal logistics infrastructure in Armenia.
Gohar Abajyan, director of the Investment Support Center Foundation, also attended the meeting.
