The Armenian Embassy in the U.S. hosted an Armenian brandy tasting evening at the Ned’s Club in Washington, focusing on the drink’s history, production traditions and distinctive characteristics.
Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. Narek Mkrtchyan delivered opening remarks at the event.
Businessman Karen Meymaryan presented the history of Armenian brandy, its production characteristics and the varieties selected for the tasting. The evening also provided an opportunity to discuss existing interest in Armenian brandy and its potential in new markets.
The event was attended by representatives of U.S. political, diplomatic, academic and business circles.
