High-Tech Industry and Artificial Intelligence Minister Davit Tadevosyan described as unserious claims aired on Russian television channels alleging that the Firebird AI facility is intended for intelligence purposes.
“I think this is a politicized assessment. Facilities like this are becoming infrastructure of critical importance, and any task requiring computing or computational resources will be carried out using such facilities and units,” he said, according to Aysor.am .
According to the minister, even a car can be used to commit a crime, but that does not mean cars should be blocked or their use prohibited.
“Any such speculation is politicized and not serious. When making such an accusation, have they presented any concrete facts? If they present facts, we will gladly sit down and discuss them. Everything we have heard so far belongs to the realm of speculation,” Tadevosyan added.
