Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Lilith Makunts met with Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer and Armenian diaspora figure Perch Abgaryan. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Armenia-U.S. strategic relations and their further development.
Makunts welcomed the guests’ visit to Armenia and emphasized Fresno’s importance in the life of the Armenian community in the U.S. In particular, the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff noted that a large Armenian community has lived in the city for many years and that opportunities necessary for preserving Armenian identity have been established there. Jerry Dyer expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and noted that Fresno’s Armenian community has a distinct role in the city’s development.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on Armenia-U.S. strategic relations and issues related to their further development.
