Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of Armenia’s Ministry of Defense, received a delegation led by Brigadier General Thakur Mayank Sinha, head of India’s College of Defence Management, at the ministry’s administrative complex.
During the meeting, Ayvazyan outlined the security situation in Armenia and the wider region and answered questions from members of the delegation.
On October 13, the Indian delegation had been received by Armenia’s First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan. He presented the reforms being implemented as part of the transformation of Armenia’s Armed Forces and discussed defense cooperation between Armenia and India, including collaboration in military education.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan answered questions from members of the delegation.
