Prestigious Spanish sports newspaper Marca has unveiled its list of 100 nominees for the 2025/26 season’s best footballer award, which includes Eduard Spertsyan, a midfielder for the Armenian national team and Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, Armsport.am reported.
He spent the previous season playing for Russian club Krasnodar.
During the past season, the Armenian footballer made a total of 42 appearances for Krasnodar, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists.
The winner of the 2025/26 best footballer award will be announced on October 22.
