Turkey is not the only country, via whose territory Iran intends to export gas to Europe via a pipeline, stated representative of the National Iranian Gas Company Mohammad Hasan Mojarrad. He noted the territory of Turkey is only one of the export routes of gas to the Near East and Europe. He did not specify what other routes he meant, however as reported by Iran.ru, it is apparent that one of them can be through Armenia, with which Iran signed an agreement on building a gas pipeline the other day. For Iran the choice of the gas export route much depends on the political stability in the countries, via which the gas will be supplied, as well as the price efficiency of future projects of building gas pipelines, Hasan Mojarrad said.
