In view of the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire the Armenian government decreed that beginning with January 1, 2005 the Armenian citizens, who were born in Western Armenia or other regions of Ottoman Turkey before 1915 will receive à 5000 AMD (about$10) monthly rise in pension.
