TURKEY DID NOT GET US CREDITS PROMISED

The US administration did not confirm the terms of providing the credit of $8.5 billion promised to the Turkish authorities as economic assistance. “Reuters” agency supposes the payment can be delayed up to September and even for a longer period, if Turkey does not promptly hold the necessary economic reforms in the country. It should be reminded that George Bush had suggested the credit in question to Turkey in exchange for Ankara support of US actions in Iraq.
