One of the major reasons the “Orinats Yerkir” political party couldn’t surpass 7 per cent barrier in elections of the Yerevan City Council, was the ‘black PR’, addressed against the party, Heghine Bisharyan, head of the Orinats Yerkir parliamentary fraction, told a news conference today. In particular, according to her, supporters of the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrossian, disseminated false information about members of Orinats Yerkir during pre-election campaign. “If anybody would try anymore to spread a rumors about Orinats Yerkir or its members, he would receive an immediate and firm answer”, Heghine Bisharyan stressed.
