Today, February 23, as earlier agreed with NKR authorities, the OSCE mission conducted а regular monitoring of the line of contact of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces in Askeran direction.
From the NKR Defense Army positions, the monitoring was conducted by Coordinator of the OSCE Office, Lieutenant-Colonel Imre Palatinus (Hungary), Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Irji Aberle (the Czech Republic) and Zhaslan Nurtazin (Kazakhstan). The mission was accompanied by representatives of the NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defense.
The monitoring passed in accordance with the schedule. No violation of ceasefire was registered, NKR MFA Press Service reported.
