Armenia’s State Revenue Committee has published the remaining quota, as of August 2, 2026, for the duty-free import of electric motor vehicles classified under HS codes 8703 80 000 3 and 8703 80 000 5.
According to the committee:
- The remaining quota for authorized dealer-distributors is 1,283 vehicles, meaning 57% of the allocated quota has been used.
- The remaining quota for importers that are not dealer-distributors is 1,164 vehicles, meaning 90% of the allocated quota has already been used.
The committee said that, given the high utilization rate of the quota allocated to non-dealer distributors, it will begin publishing updates on the remaining quota more frequently.
