On August 4, Yerevan hosted the second meeting of the Armenia–Turkey Joint Working Group on the restoration of the historic Ani Bridge.
During the meeting, the Armenian and Turkish sides reaffirmed the importance of the protocol on the joint restoration of the historic Ani Bridge, which was signed in Yerevan on May 4, 2026, according to Armenpress.
The two sides agreed to continue their efforts to implement the signed protocol as quickly as possible.
Armenia and Turkey signed the memorandum of understanding on the restoration of the historic Ani Bridge on May 4 in Yerevan as part of the 8th European Political Community Summit. The signing ceremony took place during the first meeting of the working group on the restoration of the Ani Bridge.
