Armenian, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers plan meeting

An agreement has been reached to hold a meeting between Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said this while commenting on a statement by Bayramov, Armenpress reported.

“The work is ongoing. There is an agreement on an upcoming meeting, and we will provide information,” Badalyan said.

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov earlier told Azerbaijani media during a briefing that he would meet Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan in the near future.

Bayramov also said he last had an opportunity to exchange views with Ararat Mirzoyan in Bishkek on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.

During a phone call in March, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed cooperation on regional and multilateral platforms.
