Air Serbia plans regular flights between Belgrade, Yerevan

Serbia’s national carrier, Air Serbia, plans to establish regular direct flights between Belgrade and Yerevan starting in March 2027, according to the airline’s CEO, Jiri Marek.

Marek announced the plans while outlining the airline’s development strategy for the coming period.

In addition to Yerevan, the Serbian airline intends to introduce new routes to Helsinki, the capital of Finland; Miami in the U.S.; and Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, Sputnik Armenia reports.

According to Marek, these destinations, including Yerevan, were not selected at random but were chosen based on long-term market analysis and assessments of potential passenger demand.

He noted that Belgrade is becoming an important transit hub for both the countries of the former Yugoslavia and neighboring states.

Armenian airline FlyOne Armenia began operating Yerevan-Belgrade-Yerevan flights on October 15.
