Construction of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project is more likely to begin in early 2027, Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said in the National Assembly, responding to a question from Civil Contract faction lawmaker Natalya Sinoryan.
He noted that certain forecasts and preliminary expectations are already available.
“There is still quite a bit of time, and we remain committed to working quickly enough to begin some work by the end of 2026. That is still realistic, but early 2027 is more realistic,” the minister said.
The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations is discussing the ratification of the framework agreement on strategic cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the United States concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project.
