Romania’s newly appointed Foreign Minister Dan Neculaescu thanked Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan for his congratulations and expressed readiness to take relations with Armenia to a new level. He made the remarks in a post on X.
“Thank you for your warm message of congratulations on my appointment. I am ready to take our bilateral relations to a new level and further deepen the ambitious EU-Armenia cooperation agenda,” Neculaescu wrote.
Mirzoyan had earlier written that he looked forward to working closely to consolidate the strong partnership and trusted friendship between the two countries, including through Black Sea regional connectivity, ongoing bilateral projects of strategic importance, and the Armenia-European Union strategic agenda.
