Armenian actor Samvel Tadevosyan, known for his role in the film Life and Fight, has received the Golden Globes Beacon Award at a ceremony in Uzbekistan.
The award was presented to the 33-year-old actor during the Silk Road Tribute Gala, a new regional initiative held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Sputnik Armenia reports.
For the first time, the Beacon Award is being presented to recognize and encourage talented, promising artists from the next generation working in film and television across Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Actress Shugyla Yeshen of Kazakhstan received the award representing the Central Asian region.
