Marine Tovmasyan has been unanimously appointed head of Armenia’s Public Defender’s Office for a four-year term by the Council of the Chamber of Advocates.
Tovmasyan, whose attorney’s license number is 530, takes office on November 4.
She has practiced law since 2006 and previously served for many years as a public defender and deputy head of the Public Defender’s Office, gaining experience in the institution’s administration and management.
