PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA IS PLEASED WITH TALKS IN FLORIDA

YEREVAN, April 12. /Mediamax/. “The main principles of Karabakh dispute settlement Armenia adheres to were respected by the mediators at the talks in Florida”, President of Armenia Robert Kocharian said Wednesday evening upon the return from Paris, where he discussed the results of the Key West talks with French President Jacques Chirac.
President Kocharian said he positively assessed the course of the negotiations of the mediators with the Armenian side. He said the optimistic statements of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group attest to the fact that some progress was also achieved in the talks with the Azeri side. Robert Kocharian stressed that in Key West he raised the question of Karabakh’s participation in the talks. At the same time, he found it difficult to say when exactly it will be possible. –0–
