At present, Georgian authorities are not ready to contribute to the settlement of Karabakh conflict, having their own problems to resolve, according to Georgian expert.
As Paata Zakareishvili said, Georgia can’t be neutral here, with Tbilisi having “the issue of territorial integrity on agenda, similarly to Azerbaijan.”
“Georgia keeps stressing this point, which is understandable. If a state clearly supports one of the conflicting parties, the neutrality is out of question. Consequently, Georgia won’t be able to mediate the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Day.Az quoted the expert as saying.
