Azeri MFA press service head Mehtin Mirza called a “provocation” Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian’s statement about the necessity of Nagorno Karabakh independence recognition by the world community. As reported by “Interfax” agency according to his words, absence of a corresponding reply from the OSCE Minsk group and the world community to statements of such character arouse perplexity in Baku. At the same time M. Mirza expressed hope that the official representatives of the mediator-states on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement will sharply protest against and ignore participation in the measures devoted to NKR’s independence to be held in Karabakh. To note, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian addressing Armenian and NK external policy departments’ sitting held yesterday in Stepanakert within the frames of NK foreign ministry 10-th anniversary celebration stated that to date Nagorno Karabakh is in fact an independent state and all the current processes there will take their normal and irreversible course. In this connection he underscored the necessity of “conducting a consecutive work aiming at Nagorno Karabakh de jure independence recognition by the world community.
