Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Argentina Mamed Ahmedzade expressed concern over the intention of Argentinean members of parliament to meet with the leadership of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
The ambassador sent a letter to the chairmen of the country’s senate and parliament to inform that Baku “doesn’t welcome the decision” as Nagorno Karabakh is an “occupied Azeri land.”
Ahmedzade called on the Argentina’s authorities to prevent the meeting.
