ARMENIAN FM SAYS AZERBAIJAN NEEDS TIMES TO SPECIFY ITS STAND ON KARABAKH

The refusal of the Azeri party to participate in the meeting on Karabakh between the FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Prague, which was planned for March 29, proves that the official Baku is at a loss, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated today. In his words, Azerbaijan needs time for specifying its position on the Nagorno Karabakh issue. Touching upon the approaches of the Armenian party towards the latest developments in the Karabakh settlement, the minister noted that Yerevan is ready for the negotiations at any moment. At the same time he ruled out the possibility of beginning the talks with the bland print. “If Baku has such an intention, it can address Stepanakert on this issue”, the RA FM stated.
