LEBANESE PRIME MINISTER ARRIVED IN YEREVAN

On the invitation of the Prime Minister of Armenia Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri arrived in Yerevan today. He is accompanied by Ministers of Economy and Trade, Finance, Education, Industry, Agriculture, as well as parliamentarians of Armenian nationality and businessmen. After a private meeting of heads of the Governments of the two countries today, a sitting of the Armenian-Lebanese Intergovernmental Commission was opened, upon the completion of which a range of bilateral documents will be signed tomorrow. In the course of the two-day visit the Lebanese Premier will hold meetings with the Armenian President and the Parliament leadership. The Lebanese delegation is also expected to visit the Memorial to Victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey.
