France is ready to very actively promote the settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, an official representative of the Administration of the French President stated upon the completion of a meeting between the Armenian and French leaders Robert Kocharian and Jacques Chirac in Paris April 26. France highlights finding a solution to the problem exclusively via negotiations, the representative noted. He also reported that Jacques Chirac called upon the Armenian President to achieve “reconciliation and dialogue” with the opposition.
