ARMENIAN PRESIDENT DISCUSSED ISSUE OF RESTORATION OF RAIL COMMUNICATION VIA ABKHAZIA WITH RUSSIAN AND GEORGIAN PRESIDENTS

The issue of restoration of rail communication via the territory of Abkhazia was discussed in the course of yesterday’s meeting of Armenian President Robert Kocharian with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow. R. Kocharian reported this at a meeting with members of the organizational committee of the Armenian-Russian Association for Business Cooperation. He added that two days before he discussed the problem with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili by telephone, Mediamax news agency reported. “I got the notion that a process of active solution of that problem will start soon. Anyway, the Georgian new leadership does not wish to put off the solution, as it was in the past. The new Georgian leadership displays much will, courage and ability to solve problems,” Robert Kocharian noted.
