ARMENIAN OPPOSITION NOT CONCERNED ABOUT OPPORTUNITY OF BEING DEPRIVED OF DEPUTY MANDATES

The opposition is not concerned about the opportunity of being deprived of deputy mandates, member of the Justice parliamentary faction Grigor Harutyunian told Mediamax news agency. He stated it when commenting on the recent statement of Armenian Parliament Vice-Speaker Vahan Hovhannisian that if opposition deputies continue boycotting the work of the Parliament, the question of applying sanctions against them may be raised. In Grigor Harutyunian’s words, depriving the opposition of deputy mandates “is the affair of the ruling coalition.” At the same time, he stated “such a move will not save the coalition and will only speed up the process of the rule of the current authorities coming to an end.”
