ARMENIA PROVIDED TAX CONCESSIONS FOR RUSSIA

Armenian President Robert Kocharian signed a decree on providing tax concessions for the Russian Agency for State Property that has been earlier adopted by the RA National Assembly. The Agency will not hence pay the tax on the added value, which amounts in $6,2 million. As Arminfo agency specifies, the tax was imposed after Russia had made investments in the authorized capital stock of the Hrazdan Energy Company CJSC formed on the basis of the Hrazdan Heat Power Plant. Early this year the Hrazdan HPP assessed $31 million was passed to Russia against Armenia’s state debt to the RF.
