The experts of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Irzhi Yaskenya and Rene Andre, who will submit the report on Armenia to the PACE June session, are expected to arrive in Yerevan on June 11, Vice Speaker of the Armenian parliament Tigran Torosian informed today. To note, this visit was scheduled for June 14. As I. Yaskenya reported in Yerevan earlier, during a 3-day monitoring in Armenia they are to meet with the leadership, representatives of the opposition and public organization in order “to submit to PACE an impartial and balanced report”. The rapporteurs are also going to meet with the representatives of the Armenian Constitutional Court to clarify the issue regarding the CC April 2003 resolution on the “referendum on confidence to the Armenian President”.
