During the period of January-May of 2004 the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Armenia showed 8,9% as compared to the same period last year. As reported by the Armenian National Statistical Service, the amount of the GDP for the above mentioned period comprised 430835.9 million AMD. According to the source, since January 2004 the industrial production has come to 195223.3 AMD, thus showing 3,3% growth as compared to the same period last year.
