TURKEY CANNOT ASPIRE TO ROLE OF IMPARTIAL MEDIATOR IN KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

Yerevan considers that Turkey having a vivid preconceived stand on the Karabakh conflict settlement cannot pretend to the role of an impartial mediator in this issue, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian told journalists today. In his words, the Turkish leadership is perfectly aware of this position. At the same time the minister refuted the reports by Turkish media that the issue of Turkey’s activation in the Karabakh process was discussed during the trilateral meeting of the Armenian, Turkish and Azerbaijani MFs. He informed that that the Karabakh problem was considered during the meeting in general context only.
