July 16 in Yerevan Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, Chief of the General Staff of the country armed forces Mikayel Harutyunian and Advisor of the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Igor Gromyko signed an agreement referring to the Russian military stationed in Gumri Armenian city. The document specifies the list of the buildings and ground areas that are necessary for the activities of the 102-nd Russian military base and are being conveyed to the Russian party for a limited span. The ground areas not used by the Russian military will be returned to Armenia. It should be noted that the bilateral agreement on placing the Russian military base in Armenia regulates the issues in question.
