The sitting of the permanent Commission for Defense and Security of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly as well as the consultation of the chairs of the profile commissions of the CIS parliaments will be held in Yerevan October 6-8. As reported by the Armenian parliamentary press service, the sitting participants are expected to meet with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II and Armenian Police Chief Hayk Harutyunian. To note, the sitting of the parliamentarians of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member-states will take place in the Armenian capital on October 8.
