Both my own position and the position of the Republican party on the Karabakh conflict settlement remain unchanged, Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian stated in his interview with Noyev Kovcheg newspaper. In his words, the settlement of the problem is possible only based on respect of the right of Nagorno Karabakh for self-determination and taking into consideration the historical realities. “The problem should be resolved via peaceful means exclusively. At that Nagorno Karabakh’s subordination to Azerbaijan should be ruled out”, the Armenian government head noted. At the same time he said he excluded the possibility of settling the issue at the expense of Armenia’s territorial integrity.
