The US is highly interested in the fair settlement of the Karabakh problem via talks, which will result in sustainable and durable peace. As reported by Zerkalo Azeri newspaper, US Ambassador to Baku Reno Harnish stated it in the course of a meeting with Azeri Parliament Vice-Speaker Ziyafet Askerov. In his words, Washington fully perceives that the problem is the main issue on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy agenda. “From my own part I want to assure that Steven Mann, representing US at the talks, will further actively participate in the actions, aimed at the conflict settlement,” the American diplomatic mission head reported.
