RAO UES of Russia is drawing up a heavy program of investments into the cascade of the Sevan-Hrazdan hydroelectric power station and Yerevan heat power plant, Armenian Minister of Energy Armen Movsissian told to Golos Armenii newspaper. In his words, the presumptive amount of the investment makes $20 million. The Minister noted that soon concrete investments will be made in the Yerevan hydroelectric power station as well as the in power economy generally. “The company makes investments in the fields covered by its terms of reference. The question regarding the investments of RAO UES in other energy fields is not on the agenda”, Movsissian said.
