ARMENIAN PRESIDENT AND RUSSIAN TRANSPORT MINISTER DISCUSSED BILATERAL COOPERATION PROGRAMS

Armenian President Robert Kocharian yesterday received Minister of Transport and Communication of Russia, Armenian-Russian Economic Cooperation Commission Co-Chair Igor Levitin. As reported by the Press Service of the Armenian leader, in the course of the meeting R. Kocharian noted that the Commission is a very important mechanism in Armenian-Russian relations and its activities have always been marked with efficiency. The interlocutors discussed bilateral cooperation programs, paying special attention to the question of development of transport communications. I. Levitin reported that in the course of the discussions in the Commission agreements were reached, which after being elaborated, will be discussed at the Commission next sitting in Moscow.
