INTER-PARLIAMENTARY UNION BRITISH DELEGATION ARRIVING IN YEREVAN TODAY

October 18 members of the British group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Gordon Marsden, Jane Griffits, Candy Stirton, Caroline Cox, Jim Rogers are arriving in Yerevan. As reported by the Press Service of the National Assembly of Armenia, today the delegation members will visit the British Embassy and the British Council. In the National Assembly they will also meet Speaker Artur Baghdasarian and Chairman of the Foreign Relations Commission Armen Rustamian. The British group members will also hold a meeting with Defense Minister Serge Sargsian. October 20 the delegation will leave for Nagorno Karabakh, where meeting with President Arkady Ghukasian and Republic Parliament Chairman Oleg Yesayan are scheduled. Upon their return to Yerevan the delegation will have a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Deputy Tatul Margarian October 22. The same day the delegation will leave for London.
