KARABAKH SPEAKER RECEIVED ARMENIAN ASSEMBLY OF AMERICA DELEGATION

October 19 Chairman of the National Assembly of Nagorno Karabakh Oreg Yesayan received the delegation of the Armenian Assembly of America, headed by Vice Chair of the Board of Directors Annie Totah. As reported by the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Parliament Press Service, in the course of the meeting O. Yesayan noted the important role the Armenian Diaspora, specifically the Assembly plays “in maintaining the national interests and the national originality of the Armenians, consecutive contribution in solution of social, economic and political problems.” In her turn, A. Totah said the Assembly was ready to further contribute to the solution of problems in Nagorno Karabakh. It should be noted that the Parliament Speaker also presented the delegation members the NKR legal framework, directions and priorities of the social and economic development of the republic, the investment policy, tax regime, prospects and opportunities of development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
