Restoration of the realistic negotiation format on Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the OSCE Minsk Group is necessary, stated Nagorno Karabakh Republic President Arkady Ghukasian at a meeting with representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America in Stepanakert. In the President’s words, in the format mentioned Nagorno Karabakh appears as a party to conflict equal in rights. Only in this way it is possible to arrive at constructive solution of the problem, the President noted. He also said he is grateful to the AAA for lobbying thanks to which the US provides annual humanitarian aid to NKR. As A. Ghukasian pointed out, today the US is the only state to render formal assistance to Karabakh.
