Azeri President Ilham Aliyev stated that the introduction of the issue of “Occupied territories of Azerbaijan” will not harm the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. To the contrary, it will have positive impact on it, Aliyev said. Having noted that Azerbaijan does not work for another organization to substitute for the OSCE Minsk Group as a mediator in the conflict settlement, Aliyev emphasized: “Azerbaijan wishes for the European Union, the Council of Europe, the UN and other influential international organizations to discuss the issue of the occupied territories.”
