For the first time after his retirement Armenian ex-President Levon Ter-Petrosian answered journalists’ questions. His answered are published in “Aravot” newspaper. Yesterday the former President returned from the US, where he took part in the opening of B. Clinton’s library in Little Rock (Arkansas). As reported by Ter-Petrosian’s press service last Saturday, he had a personal meeting with G. Bush. However PanARMENIAN.Net informed sources from the US denied the information. The ex-President himself in fact confirmed our information. Answering a question on the fact of having a meeting with Bush, he said: “We exchanged a few words in motion.” Ter-Petrosian avoided answering the question on his possible participation in the coming presidential election. Answering a journalist’s question whether he regrets that in his time he appointed R. Kocharian Prime Minister, the former President answered that at the time no one was against it. Levon Ter-Petrosian also spoke about the Ukrainian events, saying, “in my opinion everybody wants Yuschenko to win.” Besides, he reported that he had completed work on the book about crusades and is going to write another. Reports about L. Ter-Petrosian, which have become more frequent lately, can evidence the desire of the ex-President to return to the politics and the ground-exploring being held by many media for a rather long time.
