UNITED LABOR PARTY LEADER SAYS ARMENIAN FOREIGN POLICY SHOULD HAVE CLEAR AIM

When commenting on Mr. David Atkinson’s report on Nagorno Karabakh leader of the United Labor Party Gurgen Arsenian said Armenia’s foreign policy does not have a clear aim today. “Personally I cannot make this aim out”, he said. This is the reason why the “parliamentary diplomacy” and the Armenian delegation to PACE specifically (G. Arsenian is a member of the delegation) do not work properly. “There is not a complex approach”, the Armenian parliamentarian considers, “we do not outline the level we want to solve the problems available at”. “If we want to make our parliamentary diplomacy efficient we should summon a sitting with the participation of the President, Foreign Minister and other high rank officials before each session. Gurgen Arsenian considers that all he said is not critics but opinion on an efficient way of working.
